The Lighthouse Team
Tom Kozlowski, CFP®
Tom co-founded Lighthouse Wealth Management with Andy Wilson and the company celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2017.
Recognizing the value of having a team of professionals, Tom was the driving force behind Lighthouse’s signature service, ‘The Compass Program.’
Providing our clients with a “one stop shop” for all their financial needs has differentiated the firm from other financial service providers. “Our clients appreciate having a team of professionals working diligently to maximize their financial situation.”
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1984 from Utica College of Syracuse University, and in 1986 was registered as a securities representative. Along with his CFP designation, Tom currently holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 Registrations, along with multiple Life and Health Insurance Licenses. With over 30 years as a Financial Advisor, Tom still has a passion to help clients meet their goals and dreams of a fulfilling retirement.
Tom’s service to the community is equally important to him. He is either serving as or recently served as: Member of Monocacy Valley Church Building and Finance Team; Chairman of the Gus Macker 3 on 3 Charity Basketball Tournament; Treasurer of Blue Ridge Force AAU Girls Basketball; Coordinator and coach of the LUYAA Middle School Girls Basketball Teams; Southern Frederick County Rotary Board Member, as well as their Fund Raising Chairperson.
Tom and his wife Teri currently reside in New Market, Maryland. When free time allows, Tom enjoys golf as a member of Holly Hills Golf Course, working out, traveling with Teri and good bottle of wine.
Andy Wilson, CFP®
From the time he entered the industry, Andy Wilson dreamed of creating an independent financial advisory firm that would provide completely unbiased financial advice. This meant no proprietary products – no ties to Wall Street firms – and no pressure to recommend the latest products to his clients. Instead, Andy could simply do what was in the client’s best interest – all the time, every time.
Andy realized his dream in 1992 and joined with his longtime business partner, Tom Kozlowski, to co-found Lighthouse Wealth Management. He played a key role in developing Lighthouse’s signature Compass Program, further expanding the ability to help clients by offering an in-house Tax Practice and an Estate Attorney that works directly with the firm. This multi-point approach gives Andy a full understanding of client goals – and also allows him to coordinate all avenues of their financial lives, saving clients from having to go to three separate companies. Andy now uses his years of experience to guide individuals, families, and businesses through the ever-changing financial planning landscape with unbiased advice driven solely by his clients’ needs.
Andy lives in Glenwood, Maryland with his wife, Melissa, and their youngest son, Connor, who is an avid baseball player. They also have two grown children, Beverly and Spencer. Andy can usually be found on a baseball field on weekends or playing golf with his family.
